Koala Kids out of School Hours Care are a private for-profit service. The centre provides before and after school care along with vacation care for school  age children 5-12 on casual and permanent basis. Koala Kids OOSH is an approved centre, registered with the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services to care for up to 45 children per day for before/after school care and vacation care. KKOOSH is funded by the Commonwealth Government to provide Child Care subsidy to families.

At KKOOSH we provide a safe, supportive and encouraging environment for children to learn about themselves, and their world, through play and leisure. We are excited to see children thrive and believe their experiences in our OOSH positively contributes to the development of a range of social and emotional skills. Our programs aim to support children's' friendships, enhance resilience and foster understandings of citizenship and belonging with the community.

Koaka Kids OOSH maintains a Policy and Procedures document which is regularly reviewed in line with legislation, industry practice and current research on child development. We endeavour to make sure that all new children are made welcome and oriented to the service.

Our out of school hours programs emphasise play, social interaction and recreation. Activities are organised in small and large groups, children may choose to participate in individual quiet time to read or complete homework.
